Emotional Intelligence

Relationships are important to us but when relationships fail and unresolved issues are left unexplained, we develop feelings of hatred, guilt, and regret.

Trauma is common in people who have suffered from everyday situations.

Understanding how to cope and manage your fear and anxiety can improve the quality of your life.

Self – Awareness

Self-awareness can play a major role in emotional intelligence but developing empathy for others is also important. In sessions, you recognize your own emotions and how they affect your thoughts and behavior. You understand your strengths and weaknesses and have self-confidence.

Your ability to manage core feelings such as anger, sadness, fear, and joy often depends on the quality and consistency of your early life emotional experiences.

Self – Management

You're able to control impulsive feelings and behaviors, manage your emotions in healthy ways, take initiative, follow through on commitments, and adapt to changing circumstances. Self-management is our capability to better manage our thoughts, regulate our emotions, and hold ourselves accountable for our behaviors.

The practice of self-management includes being able to assess your priorities, manage your time, and hold yourself accountable. Without healthy self-management, we may find it difficult to complete simple tasks, achieve our goals, gain personal growth, and prioritize our emotional wellness.

Relationship Management

Improve your ability to communicate in an assertive, respectful, and non-defensive manner, particularly when providing feedback or managing interpersonal conflict.

Relationship management refers to our ability to communicate clearly, maintain good relationships with others, connect with those from other cultures, work well in teams, and manage conflict.

Social Awareness

Being self-aware is a demonstration of one’s “ability to accurately recognize one’s own emotions, thoughts, and values” along with the ability to understand how they impact their behavior.

When people are self-aware, they understand their strengths and challenges and know what helps them thrive. They also understand that how they see themselves may be different from how others see them.

In therapy sessions, you learn to understand and control your own emotions and actions, and it helps you to understand how these affect the emotions and actions of others.
